Lanny Thorndike           
Chief Investment Officer  

Alexander L. Thorndike

Lanny Thorndike is the Lead Portfolio Manager for Small Cap Growth separately managed portfolios and Century Small Cap Select Fund. As Chief Investment Officer and Chairman of the Investment Committee, he brings 12 years of equity research and portfolio management experience to Century Capital. Since his arrival in 1999, Mr. Thorndike has played an important role developing the overall decision-making process and recruiting investment professionals. Prior to joining the firm in early 1999, he was an equity analyst at William Blair and Company, LLC. Previously, he worked as an Investment Analyst and Portfolio Manager at CC&F Asset Management. He earned his Bachelors degree from Harvard University and received his M.B.A. from The J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He is a Managing Partner and a Principal of Century Capital.

Kevin Callahan            
Director of Research 

Kevin Callahan

Kevin Callahan is Co-Manager of Century Small Cap Select Fund. As Director of Research and a member of the Investment Committee, he brings 15 years of equity research and portfolio management experience to Century Capital. Since his arrival in 2001, Mr. Callahan has helped to construct portfolios and has made a number of enhancements to the investment process. Prior to joining the firm, he was a portfolio manager at Standish, Ayer & Wood, Inc., a securities analyst at Loomis, Sayles & Company and a securities analyst at Fleet Investment Advisors. He earned a Bachelors degree from Tufts University and received his M.B.A. from The J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the Boston Security Analyst Society (BSAS), CFA Institute and Association of Insurance and Financial Analysts (AIFA). He also served on the AIMR Insurance Task Force. He is a Managing Director and Principal of Century Capital.

David Borah            
Equity Analyst 

David Borah

David Borah is an Equity Analyst with nine years of industry experience. David’s primary research responsibility is the Health Care industry. Prior to joining Century in 2004, Mr. Borah was a Research Analyst with Pilgrim Baxter & Associates where he also had responsibility for all-cap research in the Health Care sector. Previously, he was with Wellington Management Company in Boston where he had client service responsibilities. David earned his Bachelors degree in History from Brown University and his MBA from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University. David is a Member of the Boston Security Analysts Society (BSAS) and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Greg DiMarzio            
Equity Analyst 

Greg DiMarzio

Greg DiMarzio is an Equity Analyst with five years of industry experience. Since his arrival in 2000, he has research responsibility for Banks, Financial Services, and Technology. In addition, he serves as a resource for portfolio construction analytics. Previously, Mr. DiMarzio was a Consultant at Hoffman & Alvary, a specialty consulting firm, and a Financial Analyst at Bank Boston. He earned his Bachelors degree in Finance from Boston College and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. Greg is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society (BSAS), and the CFA Institute.

C.J. Young            
Equity Analyst 

CJ Young

C.J. Young joined Century Capital as an Equity analyst in October 2004. C.J.’s primary research responsibilities include public securities within the Consumer Discretionary segment of the market. C.J. has 7 years experience in the Investment Management business. Prior to joining Century, Mr. Young was a research analyst at Frontier Capital Management in Boston, where his responsibilities included multi-sector coverage supporting both Small-Mid Cap Growth and Value portfolios. Prior to Frontier, C.J. worked at Schroder & Co. as part of the Institutional Portfolio Sales division. Mr. Young earned his Bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and received his MBA from The J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Over the course of the last 4 years, Mr. Young has been active in serving the United States Olympic Committee in the role of athlete advisor.

Jonathan Weitz             
Equity Trader 

Johnathan Weitz

Jonathan Weitz is an Equity Trader with five years industry experience. Jonathan is responsible for equity trading for separate accounts and Century Funds and he is also responsible for portfolio reporting, operations and technical market analysis. Prior to joining Century in 2003, he was an Equity Trader at HLM Management Company where he executed both OTC and Listed small and mid-cap trades. Previously, Mr. Weitz was with Scudder-Kemper Investments where he was an Emerging Markets Portfolio Administrator and a Pricing Analyst. Jonathan received his Bachelors degree in Economics from Rollins College. He is a member of the Boston Securities Traders Association (BSTA) and has completed Level I of the BSTA Market Technician Course.

Paul Berg             
Managing Director 

Paul Berg

Paul Berg is responsible for Institutional Sales and Client Service for separately managed accounts. Prior to joining Century in 2003, Paul was SVP and Regional Sales Director-Northeast at Strong and SVP and Director of Institutional and Consultant sales at Evergreen Investments in Boston. Before joining Evergreen-Keystone, he was a Managing Director-Consulting and a Principal at RogersCasey, Chairman of Plan Sponsor Network (Informa-PSN), President of Berg Fiduciary Consultants, and National Practice Director of investment consulting services at A.S. Hansen. He has more than 30 years of institutional investment experience including over 15 years as an investment consultant. Paul has a Bachelors degree in Finance/Economics from Lehigh University.

 

Peggy Donahue              
Marketing Resource Manager 

Peggy Donohue

Peggy Donahue is responsible for institutional databases, questionnaires and RFPs, for consultants and institutional separate accounts relationships. In addition, Peggy is a Key Account Manager for the Century Funds. Previously, Peggy managed Shareholder Services for Century Shares Trust. Prior to joining Century in 1991, she was a Dealer Services Representative at Colonial Investment Management. She has 15 years industry experience and attended Northeastern University.
