Each of the Principals has extensive knowledge of the financial services industry and understands issues and risks associated with new investment opportunities. All of the Principals participate in the due diligence phase of a new investment, from in-depth due diligence to continued assistance in building value post-investment. 

Our Principals take an active role in guiding the strategic direction and corporate governance of its portfolio companies by serving as a board member or observer for nearly all of our portfolio companies. We are active board members and, because of our experience and expertise, can provide advice on issues ranging from: 

• Expanding into select new products and markets or changing distribution strategies;
• Understanding claims issues and reserve development implications;
• Identifying and performing due diligence on acquisition opportunities;
• Bolstering management teams; and addressing legal or regulatory challenges specific to the insurance industry.
